It’s here! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale sneaks up every year to remind me A. I’m a terrible planner, and B. it’s already the middle of summer! Two things I’m aware of, but it still feels like a slap in the face. If one must endure a slap, I suppose severely discounted clothes, shoes and accessories is a pretty decent tradeoff. I forgive you, Nordstrom. 😉

This year’s sale does not disappoint. It’s chalk full of both fun, on-trend pieces (did someone say embellished mules?) and a ton of basic staples (pretty sure everyone needs this top in 3 colors) to add to your wardrobe. I’ve linked a bunch of my favorite items, so you can be ready to jump on them when the sale officially starts 7/21. Although, I have a sneaking suspicion that many of you are fellow Nordstrom card holders and have already taken advantage of the early access too. If so, what did you pick up? Let me know in the comments below! 🙂

Um hello…This top is less than $20! I love the blush color, but honestly I’m well on my way to owning it in every color it comes in. I live in these basic tees!

I also love this version for when the weather starts to cool down. Too bad that’s not until basically December here.

Distressed jeans in any wash always have a place in my closet. This Citizens of Humanity pair in black are a great option because they’re super versatile and accessible!

2017 Trends

This flouncy silhouette is everywhere right now. I love this version because it’s still totally on-trend, but a little more subtle and wearable to most. Plus, I’m a sucker for a jewel tone. 🙂

Personally, I’m not ready to give up the cold shoulder trend, so I’m happy to see it hanging on for fall! This creamy, cable knit sweater looks too cozy to pass up!

These babies are doing double duty when it comes to trends, falling under both the “slides” and the “block heel” categories. This slate shade works great as a neutral, but I have my eye on the crimson version as well.

I could honestly go on and one, but I’ll leave it at that for now. 🙂 Head over to for Anniversary Sale early access until the 20th, or shop the official sale 7/21-8/6!
