Don’t these J Brand jeans totally remind you of an old school candy striper? I have always thought so, and feel extra cutesy and girly when I wear them. I love the flexibility they give me in that I can easily pair them with a bold color (like this cobalt tank) on top, or stay neutral and let them be the feature of my look. If you’re gonna walk around in candy striper jeans, you at least want to feel confident though. Luckily the stripes are vertical and subtle enough in color that they remain flattering, even over hips and thighs. : )
I’ve realized I’m absolutely awful at photographing our fun trips and weekend adventures, which is so ironic considering I manage to not only take style photos, but post them here every single week. You’d think I’d have this whole process down by now! This weekend J and I flew up to Portland to attend my cousin’s wedding and visit my sister and her boyfriend. I didn’t take a single photo at the wedding and have a dismal amount from the weekend at all! I like to think that even though this is unfortunate it means I was present and in the moment all weekend rather than diligently documenting it for social media from behind my phone. I’ve got to work on some balance however, because I know I will want photos to support these memories when I remember them fondly later in life. I mean…talk about first world problems though. All in all I’d say things are pretty peachy if this is what I’m “working on.” I hope you all had an amazing weekend as well! xo
